I’m so excited about this contest! For the ridiculous reason that I just can’t wait to see what creative ideas you all come up with! This is going to be great! The contest starts today and will go through Aug. 6 when the votes will be counted and the winner announced!
Most of you, I’m sure know what Planking is. I’m the fast one in the slow group, and I only recently found out about planking, and happen to think that it’s hilarious! So for our first “photo assignment” contest I have chosen planking because I want to get some good chuckles and all out belly laughs from the photos that you all create. Here are the “official” planking rules!
When performing a Plank:
1.THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE is make sure you PLANK SAFE!!!
2.You must always lay face down, ensuring your face remains expressionless for the duration of the Plank.
3.Your legs must remain straight, and together with toes pointed.
4.Your arms must be placed by your side, held straight and fingers pointed.
5.You must make it known that you are Planking. Saying ‘I am Planking’ usually get this across. Sternly announcing it will ensure a good result.
6.Once again your safety should always be considered. Properly thought through Planking procedures should always go to plan. Never put your self at undue risk.
7.First Aid should never be far away. Ice, Bandaids, Cast Plaster, needle and thread, emotional support and a quick escape route need to be on hand.
8.Every Plank that is captured must be named.

I love it! It’s “Alphabet Photography” which I’ve also only recently heard of, but thing is one of the most awesome ideas! This is a great piece of art to accent any home. In fact… I almost want to keep it myself, but I guess since I’m hosting the contest, I’m disqualified. 😉 It says FAITH and then has a fantastic inspirational quote by Helen Keller. That reads, “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” *sigh* So true!

Step 1: Take a planking photo. Or have someone take it of you, that might be easier. 😉 Follow the “planking rules” above.
Step 2: Email your photo to ME at [email protected]
Step 3: Look for your photo to show up on the Planking album on CDO Studios FACEBOOK PAGE and send your friends, family and pets to vote for it by “liking” your photo.
Simple!
